Competitions Getting Hot Among E Cigarette Companies

With numerous big players offering high-quality e-cigarettes to their respective customers, the competition among them is actually getting hotter these days. Each one is claiming that their brand and inherent products are the best in the industry. They promise enticing flavors, fantastic device make, and increased battery life. Many times, one finds companies suing each other on charges of taking business away.

A recent case involving a well-known e cigarette manufacturer have again shifted the spotlight on this ongoing competition. This South Florida Company was not pleased with the tactics other companies employed to take away customers from them. It alleges that the competitors are using unfair and deceptive trade practices besides trying to gain an upper hand using fraudulent competition.

Based on their allegations the company has sued its competitor and has claimed that the latter has even resorted to piracy and copying to gain an upper hand. Store layouts, color schemes, and logos, everything have been copied to mislead customers and attract their attention. Use of a strikingly similar trade name and marks are enough to confuse the buyers and they are no longer able to differentiate between the two companies.

This has led to decrease in business for the South Florida Company and now they want compensation for their loss through appropriate penalties. There are also allegations of misinformation and slanderous remarks that are meant to undermine the position of the original company.

High quality e cigarette brands are high performance and it is impossible to compare them with the variety one gets from the convenience stores. The latter is disposable, cheap, and skinny, being ideal for those starting out in the electronic cigarette world. Even the power requirement in the cheap varieties is not enough because of the presence of mini batteries inside. Once you keep on using these simulated cigarettes, it is easy to upgrade to better and comparatively expensive varieties.

With both the companies clear about the allegations regarding copying and slanderous promotion, everybody is waiting expectantly for them to reach an agreement. This is bound to happen in the near future. The resolution of the issue is going to pave the way for similar allegations, which is bound to increase in keeping with the escalating competitions.

As more and more people come to realize the associated benefits of electronic cigarettes, manufacturers are looking for innovative ways to attract the attentions. While big companies have large budgets to spare for marketing, smaller players sometimes resort to underhand methods for gaining a similar footing. For the buyers however, increased competition signifies a greater variety and reduced prices.

The case of South Florida Company is not an isolated one. Numerous others sued and won or are planning to proceed against a competitor using legal means. Whatever the outcome is, the e-cig scene remains far from boring!
